The FIFA series receives its only entry on the Game Boy Color with FIFA 2000. The game is very similar to developer Tiertex' earlier entries in the series, with the same isometric graphics (updated for the GBC's capabilities) and many similar options and modes.
It features the traditional exhibition, tournament, playoffs and league modes and adds a new mode for indoor games. Also new is a quick start option for a quick random game. There are 63 teams available (up from 52 in the predecessors) - 62 national squads plus the THQ Tornados all-star team.
