When a continuing solar eclipse darkens Transylvania and people have started to have gone missing, a news reporter named Emily Davis is sent in to investigate this unusual occurrence.

Gameplay involves the typical hidden object genre fare of searching locations for a checklist of items within a limited amount of time. The game contains over one thousand items to locate and will place the items randomly on each playthrough. These hidden object scenes are occasionally broken up with things such as jigsaw puzzles and other logic puzzles.
