Edward Randy is an action game set in 1930-s in an unspecified European country. The story involves the development of a deadly secret weapon and a scientist's daughter Charlotte holding a vital component of this weapon - a prism stone. When a whole army of Nazi-looking soldiers sets out to hunt for the prism stone, you, Edward Randy, is the only one who can stop them and protect Charlotte (accompanied by your unnamed palette-swap buddy, if you pay in two-player mode).

The game is a non-stop "cinematic" platformer with automatic scrolling. Edward Randy is armed with a whip which can also be used as a rope to swing around the screen at certain moments.
