Street Fighter EX2 is a 2D fighting game with majored 3D graphics and a sequel of the first Street Fighter EX game co-produced by Capcom and Arika.
The gameplay consists in a vs. fighting match with the same features of the previous game such as the 3 level super combo gauge, guard cancel to stun the opponent while guarding from attacks, cancel moves to make a super combo after an special move, super cancel to make consecutively super combos and new features such as the cancel break to make a guard break after a super combo, the "Excel" to make custom combos like Street Fighter Alpha 3 and "Meteor combos" to make massive damage to the opponent by using level 3 super combo gauge.
This game features 7 original Street Fighter characters such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Zangief, Guile, Blanka, Dhalsim, Vega (Balrog in Japan) and M Bison (Vega in Japan); and 9 created by Arika such as Hokuto, Doctrine Dark, Skullomania, Cracker Jack, Sharon, Hayate, Nanase, Shadow Geist and Garuda making a total of 16 characters in this game.
