Moorhuhn 2: Die Jagd geht weiter is the second handheld game in the franchise. It contains a simplified version of the console/PC version and adds several other game modes.

• Moorhuhn 2 is the traditional game variant in which the player must shoot at Moorhühner flying by, being awarded more points for hitting birds farther away.
• In Spinnen spinnen, spiders are hanging by threads and must be hit for points. Hitting them sends the thread spinning, making them harder to hit until they come to rest. A hit must be made within a few seconds or a life is lost. Surviving an entire round adds an additional critter in the next one.
• Hau das Huhn is a Whac-a-Mole variant in which Moorhühner appear randomly in four different locations and must be hit for points.
• In Die Moorballons, balloons of various colours are sent flying across the screen, with points being awarded for hitting only the balloons of a given colour.

All modes are played for high scores which are saved in battery-backed RAM.
