Play Global Defense Online
'Global Defender' is a fast-paced arcade game resembling the classical 'Paratrooper'. The player controls a turret placed inside some city in the bottom of the screen, while the enemy shoots rockets from above targeting the turret and the buildings that surround it. The turret cannot move but can freely rotate - and has to shoot the rockets before they reach their goals: the game ends when either the turret is hit or no more city buildings survive.
'Global Defender' features 36 one-screen levels, music on CD Audio tracks, and 3D graphics requiring a 3D accelerator with OpenGL driver. There is a kind of multiplayer mode as well, where up to eight players can compete with each other by shooting rockets against time.
