Dear Esther: Landmark Edition is an updated release of the 2012 story-driven PC game Dear Esther. This version was created for consoles, but a few months later it was also provided as a free update to the owners of the PC version, also replacing the default PC version of the game in digital stores. The game itself is largely identical, but it was ported over from the original Source 3D engine to Unity 5. This version also introduces remastered audio and a Directors' Commentary with developers Jessica Curry, Robert Briscoe and Dan Pinchbeck. There are additional accessibility options: larger subtitles and a crosshair in addition to the original’s FOV & brightness sliders and controller sensitivity menus and subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish and Russian trophies/achievements. There are some other tweaks and bug fixed as well.
