Dungeon Hunter is an action RPG for mobile devices. The player controls a resurrected prince who has to fight an evil queen who also happens to be the prince's former lover. It takes place in the land of Gothicus, which the prince has to rid of evil creatures while uncovering his own memories. Creating a character involves choosing from three different classes: rogue, warrior or mage. The rogue kills enemies one on one, is agile and can avoid attacks while the warrior is good at fighting multiple enemies at a time. The mage uses fairy magic and can summon energy shields for protection or to repulse enemies.

The game is played from a bird's view perspective and uses a virtual d-pad to move around the world and buttons to hack and slash at the enemies. There's a regular attack as well as special abilities for more powerful attacks. Throughout the game the player is accompanied by fairies who can be used to unleash powerful magical attacks. There are five fairies in the game, each bound to its own element. Experience is earned in combat and leads to the player levelling up. For each new level, character points are earned which can be placed in one of four attributes: strength, dexterity, endurance and energy. Skill points are also earned and can be used to unlock and upgrade skills.
