Gensokyo Daisensou is a chess-like 2D turn-based strategy game, based on the Touhou series. The player controls heroines from Tōhō games, like Reimu, Marisa, Cirno, Patchouli, Meiling, Sakuya and others and tries to defeat enemy forces. Game has turns like in chess - the player moves one character, then enemy moves one character... after an attack, the game turns into a duel between the girls. The battle is a card based system (with random damage and "graze" defence). Heroines have several abilities to use (for example, Cirno can perform an attack on the board, not only in battle mode, Alice can heal allies) and statistics (life points, graze points). The game has a quest mode, about clones becoming a new problem in Gensokyo.
