Daidassō is an action game where you take on the role of a soldier tasked with rescuing five comrades trapped in cells within a castle. Your mission involves infiltrating the enemy stronghold, eliminating threats with your gun and grenades, and retrieving the key to free your fellow soldiers. Be cautious though, as friendly fire is a risk – shooting your own team members will deplete your ranks. Losing all five soldiers or getting hit by enemies will cost you a life.
As you progress through the 50 levels, keep an eye out for bonuses dropped by enemy soldiers. These bonuses include bullets, grenades, money, bottles, rings, meat, diamonds, and even floppy disks, all of which earn you points and may provide extra ammunition to aid in your mission. Reach 100,000 points to earn an additional life.
