Barbie as the Island Princess is a game based on the direct-to-video computer animated film of the same name staring the American toy doll Barbie. Rosella has been shipwrecked on an tropical island and is raised by a baby elephant, peacock and red panda. One day prince Antonio happens to come across the tropical island and Rosella soon learns she is actually the princess Barbie.
In the game the player can play as Barbie, Antonio or five other characters from the film. The game offers a total of twenty-eight mini games to compete in and features footage from the movie.
