Mad Men is a YouTube-based choose-your-path game based on the AMC television show of the same name. The player assumes the role of Don Draper as he searches for a way to save his advertising agency, Sterling Cooper Draper Price, after it loses its biggest client. Before he can do that, Don must obtain three things: confidence, new ideas, and inner peace. To do so, he must interact with his co-workers Pete Campbell and Peggy Olsen, as well as ex-wife Betty Draper. Each character branch presents the player with choices based on plotlines from the show, with their selections taking them to a new video and hopefully, filling up the appropriate life bar at the top of the screen. Filling up all three brings the player to one of multiple endings, determined by the order they interacted with the three characters.
The original videos were presented on YouTube prior to the premiere of Mad Men season five, with over 40 videos to play through. The videos have since been made private, though the introduction and the first video of each of the three character arcs are still available on the Fine Brothers' website.
