Avatar: The Last Airbender - Into the Inferno is an action adventure game based on the American animated series Avatar, and follows the events of the third season of the show. The second season ended with Aang being mortally wounded during the fall of Ba Sing Se. The game starts with Aang awakening on a stolen Fire nation ship heading towards the Fire nation.
The game can be played solo or in co-op with the players taking control of Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph and Zuko. Each of the characters has their own moves and abilities, which include bending that can be done by picking up raw elements. Sokka can’t bend but uses his sword to defeat opponents. When playing solo, the player can switch between the two characters available for each level. Appa is used to travel from one level to another.
For the Nintendo DS, a different 3D game was released.
