Play Aurail (set 1, Japan, FD1089A 317-0167) Online
Aurail is a top-down shooter where the player controls a mecha displayed from a top-down view or a first-person view depending on the level. In the future, the enemy has attacked with the great space fortress Aurail and overwhelmed the planet with swarms of enemies. Using a special battle mech powered by magic, the player must liberate the planet and defeat Aurail.
In the top-down sections, The player moves across the screen and can shoot in 8 directions or stop moving the mech for rapid fire. The player can also turn on a shield which will absorb hits that would otherwise destroy the player. Destroying enemies yields points as replenishing energy. A robotic option can also be found that will help the player by attacking nearby enemies.
Other levels of the game are played in a first-person view where the player flys forward on the screen and must destroy enemies as they come towards him.
