12 Family Games is a compilation of twelve casual games, most of them inspired on arcade games of yesteryear. Any game can be started from a main menu screen that mimics a cellphone. Click on a digit, '*', or '#' key, a submenu will open where can start the game. Some games allow you to also view highscores, select a play mode or change difficulty. A Nintendo DS stylus is not required to navigate through the menus and play the games.

The games in the compilation are:

• Lolli Rolling: A rhythm game where you control a juggling hamster riding a watermelon who must avoid obstacles. Press the correct button when it moves the hit window. A ball is dropped when you miss a note.

• Fun Fishing: Selecting a fishing spot and throw your line out. When a fish is hooked, reel it in. Sell the fish and then buy upgrades and bait to get more fish.

• Fill Love: Similar to Sega’s Columns, match three hearts of the same colour to clear them.

• Dice: Another match three puzzle game, match three of the same kind of dice to clear them.

• Testy Grill: Put as many different foods on a grill as possible, making sure not to burn them. Winner is the player who eats most.

• Egg Adventure: A platforms and ladders game where an egg must collect hay and reach its nest to finish a level. Each level introduces more moving platforms and enemies.

• Mr. Oil: Inspired by Kaboom!, catch bottles of oil thrown by a woman and avoid a dog that every so often will run across the screen.

• Match 2: Depending on the chosen difficulty, 12 to 48 cards are laying face down. Flip over three cards in the hope they match up. Beware of bomb cards that remove surrounding cards.

• Bang Bang Balloon: Inspired by Pooyan, move a little guy up and down to shoot darts at balloons.

• Moon: As a cat with a horn herd sleeping mice back into their mouse hole.

• Kuo: A vertical-scrolling overhead shoot 'em up set underwater. As a turtle shoot sea creatures and use smart bombs. At the end of each level a sea monster must be defeated to progress to the next stage.

• Buffy Racing 2: An overhead scrolling racing game where you control a bull instead of a car who must finish first.
